Kyousuke Kagami is a young shikigami user, who along with Hakutenmaru, a spirit fox, came to Tokyo to solve supernatural cases. There they met Mako, a young girl aiming to become great detective. As they solve a supernatural case together, Mako decides to stick with them, hoping that will help with her detective career.
